Dr. Ken O’Brien is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago and the University of Illinois Dental School.  He has been practicing for 23 years including serving the Stateline area for the last 16 years.

Dr. O’Brien believes in community service and has been active in the Rockton Chamber of Commerce including past service as Vice President and Director.  He volunteers his services to the Foundation for the Dentally Handicapped and the Rockford Rescue Mission.  He is a perennial sponsor of the DARE Program.

Dr. O’Brien believes in upgrading his skills and routinely exceeds the State Board’s continuing education requirements by over 100 hours per year.  He has trained under some of the most highly respected dentists in the world. These include the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, the Misch Implant Institute, the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, and the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education. This training enables us to provide a wide range of highest quality treatments at one convenient location.

Dr. O’Brien believes that maintaining professional affiliations is important to stay on the leading edge of the profession. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.

He lives in South Beloit and has 2 beautiful children, Christian and Danielle.  He enjoys all of his children’s activities, golf, and travel.
